Welcome to my homepage! I am currently a Machine Learning Ph.D. student in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) at Georgia Tech. Prior to joining ISyE, I was an M.S. student in the Department of Statistics at The University of Chicago, where I am very fortunate to be advised by Professor Wei Biao Wu, Professor Sen Na, and Professor Wanrong Zhu.

I am broadly interested in the mathematical foundations of data science. My research interests include:

  • Stochastic optimization
  • Online statistical inference
  • Generative AI
  • Reinforcement learning

Prior to Uchicago, I obtained my B.S. degree in Mathematics from ShanghaiTech University in 2023, under the supervision of Profesor Shixiao Jiang and Professor Chengjian Yao. I also visited Yale University as an exchange student in 2022, where I am very fortunate to work with professor John Lafferty and Professor Rajit Manohar on FPGA acceleration projects.

Sep 22, 2025 Our poster “Online Statistical Inference of Constrained Stochastic Optimization via Random Scaling” has been has been accepted in NeurIPS 2025 ML×OR Workshop, and our paper “Online Statistical Inference for Proximal Stochastic Gradient Descent under Markovian Sampling” has been accepted in NeurIPS 2025 Workshop on Constrained Optimization for Machine Learning! :sparkles:

Jun 01, 2024 I start visiting UC Berkeley and International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) as a four-months student researcher, where I worked in Professor Michael Mahoney’s research group! :smile:
